Dayjet Adds 737-800

Officials from DayJet Virtual Airlines announced today the airline buys a new 737-800.

Dayjet typically uses the Learjet 60, but Board Members felt that acquiring the 737-800 would amp up business.

The airline has even bigger plans as DayJet higher ups are also discussing acquiring some 777-200, which would allow DayJet to go global. However, the time frame for the acquisition of the new 777-200′s is not for sure.

Sources say before DayJet gets the new 777-200′s it will have to open more Hubs, which the airline calls a DayBase. DayJet Virtual has already four DayBases, which includes its main DayBase at Gainesville FL. and Amsterdam Schiphol, in The Netherlands.

New jetEngland Virtual Buys 737-800

JetEngland Virtual, a new virtual airline based in the UK, today announced the roll out of the Boeing 737-800. The 737-800, which is the smallest aircraft in the fleet will be used to shuttle passengers accross the United Kingdom and European destinations.

In a statement released by Matthew Garner, COO, Garner states “The introduction of the 737 in our fleet allows us to introduce smaller, better and cheaper flights around Europe. Doing this allows us to target a wider audience during this recession.”

JetEngland’s fleet now consists of Boeing 767-300 ER and Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Says Mr Garner, “The aircraft is due to be tested tomorrow and is already painted in our house livery.”

In other news the airline announced the introduction of Charity Liveries on its Boeing 767 aircraft. “We can contribute to those who need help and at the same time support their need when we are flying 35,000 feet in the virtual skies, ” Garner stated.

FlyBlue Airways to Postpone Grand Opening

Just recently in, the CEO of FlyBlue Airways came out for a press release and informed VAFlash reporters that there has been a delay in the start of operations at FlyBlue because of events that have taken over his time.

“I just wanted to inform everyone that the grand opening of FlyBlue has been postponed intill further notice due a family death that has been consuming my time. I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has been there along the way, and who have gave me support, ” CEO Tyler reported.

He also informed reporters on the progress at FlyBlue and the situations going on with its aircrafts. “Even though this is very hard for me, I am now aiming for a Mid-May opening. Progress isn’t going as fast as I would have liked it to, but we are getting there. The status on our fleet is two more Boeing 737-800′s have arrived and have been shipped to the hangar for a fresh coat of paint.”

“[I would] like to thank you for the support you have provided, ” CEO Tyler said.
