LibertyAir Starts Cargo Operations

LibertyAir has started cargo operations using a Boeing 747-400erf flying between JFK and Heathrow.

“This is a major expansion for LibertyAir” CEO Matt Smith said “We have taken delivery of our first 747 and have started our cargo operations between the US and UK, We will be getting another 4 747′s in the coming months and will be putting into service straight away”.

“We are also in discussions with an Airport in Europe about expanding our operations and opening our first European Hub” he continued “There are exciting times ahead for all concerned in LibertyAir”.

Flycatcher Aviation Commences Operations

The skies over Oklahoma will see more commercial airline traffic, as Flycatcher Aviation has started flying charter and on-demand cargo routes throughout the state. The Oklahoma City-based airline operates a fleet of two aircraft: a Cessna 340A and a Cessna 208 Cargomaster. Flycatcher has secured a contract flying machine parts from Oklahoma City to the Oklahoma pandhandle using the Cessna 208. Charter flights for up to five passengers to are able to be scheduled with less than 24 hours of notice.

The airline is a family company – and has a staff of two pilots (who happen to be brothers) as well as an administrative assistant. Flycatcher flies all flights on the VATSIM network, and utilizes X-Plane 10 and Carenado payware aircraft. A blog of recent flights is maintained, and the company’s flights can also be tracked on Vataware under the airline code FCR.

CityLink VA Opens New Hub

Citylink-va has opened a new hub at Liege airport. Liege airport also known under the name of Bierset, is known for its cargo hub of TNT in real life.

Citylink-va, has decided to open up a cargo hub as well. With, on the moment, only 2 planes.
1 Fokker 60 and 1 BAE 146-300QT. With the Fokker 60 we connect Hamburg, Leipzig, Frankfurt-Hahn and Basel-Mulhouse to Liege. The mentioned BAE 146-300QT will be added at a later date.

The Fokker 60, a deritave of the Fokker 50, is in fact the biggest turbo prop plane Citylink-va has in its portfolio.

Citylink-VA is a specialist in the va-world, for Turbo-props.

Gemini Virtual has been flying for only two months now, but we are aggressively pursuing making a name for our-self in the va community.

Ceo Richard Lund has flown for over 6 years in va’s like Northeastern Virtual, Virgin Blue, Virgin America with Sim Airlines; is a virtual Lcol in virtual Air National Guard, and was a chief pilot for virtual Southwest before retiring to form this va.

Manager of Flight Scheduling and MD11 captain Florian Fermuller has over 2000 hours on VATSIM as a European pilot and as such is quite experienced in virtual airlines as well.

We intend to make Gemini Virtual the va to belong to if you are a serious cargo pilot looking for exotic destinations in Europe, the Mideast and Africa. We have over 130 schedules to fly.

With hubs at Kennedy International in New York and Miami International in the USA we fly cargo daily to our clients destinations. Our primary address in Europe is Ostend in Belgium. We are also a C.A.R.E. airline as well as CRAF with the DOT and DOD flying to military bases worldwide. with these affiliations you never know where a flight will take you.

We approach every flight with a sense of professionalism by providing not only METARS for the departure and arrival airports but each has a complete set of airport and approach plates downloadable as current as available by just a click. Weather and winds aloft are also in the pilot briefing.

We have downloadable free DC10-30F and MD-11F and payware textures for our pilots for these aircraft as well. We have a small but well refurbished fleet.

Each day pilots are emailed the days available flights. We recognize those who go above and beyond with appropriate awards like “Most VATSIM Flights during the month” “Most Flights during the month” and an Innovation Award for ideas to improve the va; a CARE award for flying a CARE flight and a CRAF award for conducting a flight for the DOT or DOD. Pilots will also receive service awards for each 12 months of service with a real bonus from the va to personally use (under discussion).

Golden Ghana Virtual Airlines Expands Cargo Charter Fleet

Effective immediately, a Boeing 777 Freighter and a Boeing 767 Freighter join the cargo fleet of Golden Ghana Virtual Airlines. Both new aircraft can be booked for charter flights all around the world.

Golden Ghana Virtual Airlines Announces Cargo Charter and Vintage Charter Flight

Ghana’s first virtual airline announces the start of cargo charter operations and vintage charter flights. Effective immediately, GOG pilots are able to operate three different cargo aircraft and five different vintage aircraft from and to any airports of their choice.

The new charter cargo fleet:

1 Boeing 747-400F

1 Boeing 757-200M

1 Cessna C208

The new charter vintage fleet:

1 Lockheed L-1011 TriStar

1 Lockheed C-130

1 Fairchild C-119

1 Douglas DC-3

1 Boeing 727-200

The existing fleet for scheduled passenger services in Western Africa (3 Boeing 737-800, 1 Bombardier CRJ-200, 1 Dash 8 Q400, 1 Beechcraft Baron) remains unchanged.

The decision to add cargo and vintage flights is a result of a member voting about how to expand the airline’s operations. GOG members are frequently asked to state their opinions via surveys on the airline’s Facebook site.

We created a complete new FOA Cargo Division Color Design for our Aircrafts, we have currently the B747-400 brought out and so even a little bit more individual and separate but still under the umbrella of the FOA Group our Freight Forwarding Partners can feel the special new motivation of our Air Cargo Unit and so you shortly are going to see a lot of new Aircraft types in our new style
