EuroHarmony VA is pleased to announce that our virtual airline has reached the ripe old age of 13! Our first flight was on 29th April 2001 and we have been offering sim-pilots a wealth of flight choices in a relaxed atmosphere ever since.

To celebrate the VA’s birthday we begin our latest ProPilot Event on 29th April, with a series of 12 flights round the globe to mark 25 years since the entry into service of the Boeing 747-400. Visiting such iconic locations as Hong Kong, Dubai and St Maarten this will be a real treat for all Jumbo pilots. In addition we have created a range of new Missions for our specialist Divisions which will go live in the next few weeks. These include a series of rescue flights, visits to hot and high airfields and a bush flyers outreach tour linked to the 2014 Brazil World Cup. EuroHarmony Virtual Airline marks its twelfth birthday on Monday 29th April and to mark such an achievement in the VA world we have planned a series of twelve new features and events over the coming months. On our birthday we begin the celebrations with a challenging fly-in over the mountains of the Peruvian Andes which will lead us to Arequipa, Peru – the first airport in our brand new Tour of the Amazon. The South American theme will continue with new flights across the continent and the introduction of a brand new plane from South America’s own Aerospace giant – Embraer. We will also be celebrating the most notable events of the past twelve years in the aerospace world with a set of Special Missions for our EuroBusiness Division. Add to that an imminent upgrade to our in house Flight Logger software, a special summer ProPilot Event, further Divisions Missions and a screenshot competition and you can begin to see what’s kept this virtual airline fresh and new for the last 12 years!

EuroHarmony VA is pleased to announce our next ProPilot Event which celebrates 50 years of James Bond films, from the release of “Dr No” in 1962 to the eagerly awaited “Skyfall” which debuts in October 2012. Adventurous pilots everywhere can join us for 23 exciting flights, one for each of the Bond films which will take us around the globe to many of the key locations in the second highest-earning film series ever. EuroHarmony VA Winter Press Release

EuroHarmony VA is marking the onset of winter with the release of a new ski-equipped variant of the Twin Otter for our “WILD” bush flying Division. Pilots can now keep flying to airfields in Canada and the USA that might be unreachable by other planes and we’re even going to fly glacier charters for those tourists who want to walk on the ice. Structural airframe icing is even simulated on our Twotter thanks to a fantastic gauge by Charles Owen so bush flying has truly never been more challenging!

For those pilots who prefer big airliner action there’s still time to join in our Winter ProPilot Event which traces the route of the Trans-Siberian railway using a very appropriate modern Russian jet, the Antonov 148 – the first leg is still open for new pilots until December 11th. Central Asian Airlines Announces New Routes to Central Europe

Central Asian Airlines is proud to announce the opening of its latest route to Prague in the Czech Republic. The route will start on 7 September and serve the Central European hub 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The route will be flown in the airline’s state-of-the-art Boeing 757-200.

The management of Central Asian Airlines is excited about this new route: “connecting Central Asia to Central Europe opens new perspectives, not only for business, but certainly also for tourism. The Czech capital is a most beautiful city and very worthwhile of a visit. Additionally, thanks to our extensive network into Asia, this offers to the Central European market a new way of flying into Asia: the comfort of any other airline at a fraction of the cost.”

The opening of this route is part of a larger expansion into Europe. The airline has also announced it is investigating possible routes into New York and/or Boston in the United States. Many Kazakh expats live in the States and it would be the first time an airline based in Kazakhstan would connect to the North American continent.

This comes at a time where Central Asian has discontinued its route between Almaty and Vancouver in Canada. In a statement, the management of the airline declared that the route was unprofitable. According to the latest press release, it may look at reopening the route at a later stage, but using an intermediate stop in Asia instead of flying a direct route.

Building on the success of our existing routes from Singapore across South-East Asia, EuroHarmony is proud to announce a series of brand new routes into and across the rugged and beautiful continent of Australia.

From WSSS we now fly to Cairns with a route via Daru, Papua New Guinea that takes you directly over the Great Barrier Reef. The existing route to Darwin has been extended to take you through the Red Centre of Oz to the legendary outback town of Alice Springs and then on to the bustling metropolis of Sydney. The third Antipodean route takes you to Shark Bay World Heritage Site, home to a huge variety of marine life, then on to Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The route continues via Adelaide, the artistic and cosmopolitan capital of South Australia to Hobart in the wilderness island of Tasmania.

So, to quote the locals, get yourself over to Ozzie mate, crack open a tinnie and chuck a prawn on the barbie !

EuroHarmony VA is pleased to announce a late summer fly-in on the IVAO network scheduled for October 6th at 1800 Zulu.

We will be flying from Leipzig EDDP, where the evenings are drawing in, and heading down to Ajaccio LFKJ in the “Isle of Beauty” Corsica, where summer sun still reigns!
