flyeuro traffic has taken a dive since September, however it is believed that this is typical for the time of the year. The industry experts have criticised flyeuro for not taking advantage of the demise of the low-cost giant, Virtual Ryanair. The airline officials however believe that there is no reason to be alarmed, and assure that operations carry on as usual.

Few days ago, flyeuro’s website received an image refresh. It is now more interactive, simpler to use, intuitive and free of clutter. flyeuro’s technology department has been also busy with developing an interactive route map, and a mobile version of the site. “We want the user to
associate the words ‘flexible’ and ‘simple’ with us. It’s what we are about.” – said Kamil Bonczyk, flyeuro’s CEO. The website now also features Christmas seasonal motives.

Today, the airline sent out a press release, wishing their pilots Merry Christmas, while placing an early Christmas present under the tree. It was unveilved that Liverpool operations will be scaled back in favour of the more popular London Gatwick hub, and Manchester will have
a few new routes. After an unsuccessful Scandinavian hub launch in Stockholm, flyeuro routes out of Arlanda will be more “Scandinavian” as quoted per press release. This includes new routes to Helsinki and Copenhagen. In an attempt to boost interest and traffic, the low-cost airline will also operate to new places from Berlin Schonefeld and Rotterdam, launching routes to Bordeaux, Basel, and most surprisingly and unexpectedly Brussels Zaventem. If successful, the airline is not ruling out a Zaventem expansion.

The airline has also announced that it’s sister company, flybritain will receive a major overhaul in January 2014, with a closure of the hub in Edinburgh. Scottish passengers will have to hope that flybritain is relocating to another Scottish hub, however their strategy seems to lose focus out of Scotland, due to lack of interest.

Formed in February 2013, flyeuro’s 215 pilots flew over 3800 flights. Industry experts praise this achievement as the low-cost beginner managed to surpass established airlines such as WizzVA, American Virtual, Vortex and Delta Airlines in the VACentral rankings. British/Polish low-cost recently celebrated a milestone of a 1000 flyeuro operations at their main base at London Gatwick. Chief Executive Officer CEO Kamil Bonczyk is proud of this achievement. “We had a brilliant year, and we couldn’t ask for a better debut, however in 2014 we will be stepping up the game to become Europe’s favourite low-cost airline”.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Low-cost European airliner, flyeuro is troubled with lack of progression. In a bid to maintain stable development of their operations, the airline went a minor revolution. Two hubs were closed, while place for four brand new hubs was made.

Recent launch of the airline’s regional subsidiary, flybritain saw major growth of traffic within the airline. During the last month however, the traffic frequency began to fade.

On Sunday, 21st May 2013, flyeuro informed that the airline will be pulling out of their East Midlands and Budapest hubs, claiming that it was “inevitable” as these hubs were producing losses for the airline. In an attempt to note profits again, just two days later on the day of the closure of the two hubs, flyeuro announced new destinations and strategies introduced with immediate notice.

In an official press release, the airline stated “We’ve listened to you, and we’ve been making changes that suit you, and make you happy at flyeuro.” The press statement went onto stating that four new hubs have been launched: Frankfurt, Barcelona, Gdansk and Rotterdam. Moreover, Airbus A320 was introduced in an unusual twist. The airline officials believed in the past that the single-type fleet business model is functional and should not be modified. “Pilots and passengers told us what they want, and it became apparent that its best to shed some realism for choice and flexibility, hence the introduction of Airbus A320″ – said Emil Gabrys, COO of flyeuro. “We love feedback from our members, and it was their voice who spoke in the selection of the Airbus”.

On top of these changes, flyeuro introduced scrupulous regulations in terms of pilot inactivity. “We have to maintain high standards. While we listen to pilots feedback, they do have to realize that we work by a specified set of rules, like any other virtual airline” – said Kamil Bonczyk, CEO of flyeuro. If this isn’t enough, flyeuro promises to make staff recruitment more challenging. “The rules are now strict in terms of staff recruitment. We’d like only the best people, who are passionate, ambitious and responsible with their hobby. We’ve had a selection of irresponsible people in the past, and we’d like to avoid being destroyed again by various immature and crude people” – added the CEO.

In addition, new destinations were launched from flyeuro’s main hub at London Gatwick; Alghero, Brindisi, Frankfurt, Santiago de Compostela and Kosice.

The airline has also reached charter services from Katowice, Moscow, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Gdansk to Birmingham for the GlobalGathering music festival. A special logojet was released for pilots to use on these charter routes.

There are no rank restrictions for the Airbus A320-232 aircraft, and can be flown from Graduate rank upwards. flyeuro’s Airbus operations have commenced on Tuesday 23rd June, 2013 with a maiden flight from their Frankfurt hub. The five Boeing 757-200 aircraft with winglets are capable of serving distances up to 4,100nm and will be based at flyeuro’s main bases, London Gatwick and Liverpool.

In June, first flights to America and Canada will be departing from London Gatwick, on the first ever flyeuro Transatlantic flights. flyeuro advertises low-cost prices and excellent service as their main selling points for the upcoming Transatlantic connections. Flights to Halifax, Newark, Chicago, Atlanta and Toronto are amongst some of the new destinations which will be operated by the 757. Moreover, flyeuro will be also operating the 757′s on flights to Skiathos, Dubai and Tel Aviv during the Summer Schedules.

flyeuro’s CEO Kamil Bonczyk said “It’s a big challenge for us to be moving into transatlantic flights, but we listen to the customer’s feedback, and we’d like to provide them with best destinations we could possibly offer. As an expanding airline full of ambitions, I believe it is an ideal direction for us to take. We’re also incredibly proud for applying this model into practice, as we are a low-cost airline, and these don’t tend to be popular in crossing the pond”.

There are rumours that flyeuro is working on a low-cost subsidiary for the British market, and a marketing campaign already began on Twitter, under the name of flybritain. “We’re aiming to have a good customer service record, and for that to happen, we need to constantly implement changes which are satisfying for our market” added the CEO, Kamil Bonczyk.

The updated schedule comes in effect on June 1st, 2013.

CASTLE DONINGTON, ENGLAND – flyeuro’s executives have met earlier this year with the executives of three European airports; Budapest, Berlin Schonefeld and East Midlands. They have visited today to Midlands major low-cost airport, Nottingham East Midlands to announce the official East Midlands hub launch, a deal which was shrouded in secrecy over the past few months.

The airport officials welcomed the new airliner at EMA with a specially designed cake for the occasion at a press conference. Prioritizing the agenda, flyeuro’s Chief Executive Officer Kamil Bonczyk quickly moved on to describing the benefits of the hub launch, and announcing a wide variety of destinations to be launched at EMA. “We’re aiming to provide a low cost alternative to passengers and to pilots. With that in mind, we also need to make sure the services we offer will be of interest to our customers”.

Out of East Midlands, flyeuro will operate five brand new delivered Boeing 737-800 type aircrafts. The aircrafts have been delivered quite recently, and feature winglets as their contemporaries. Flyeuro’s COO Emil Gabrys, responsible for fleet managing said “It’s a great day for us to be at EMA, launching new destinations, and expanding, but for me above all, it’s great to see them new shiny Boeings which will soon raise to the skies out of East Midlands”.

It was confirmed that flyeuro will fly to 28 brand new destinations, including Paphos, Ibiza, Chania, Dinard, Faro, Fuerteventura, Lodz, Warsaw, Milan and Riga. In the winter schedule, flyeuro will operate flights to Chambery. Furthermore, when asked by the press about further EMA expansion, the CEO did not deny this possibility, laughing the reporter off and saying “Well, we’ve only began one expansion, so let’s not jump too far ahead of ourselves. We’ll just wait and see, but if the interest is adequate, we definitely would return to discussing some sort of an expansion…”

This hub launch is in line with a major network overhaul of the airline for the Summer Schedules. Although flyeuro’s headquarters will remain in Liverpool, Gatwick will become the airline’s main strategic base for its low-cost operations. For the first time, the airline will operate to destinations outside of the European Union; to Moscow, Tel Aviv, Kiev and Podgorica. Additionally, it will operate summer destinations, to the likes of Ibiza, Dubrovnik, Palma de Mallorca, Sharm el Sheikh, Mykonos, Dalaman and many more.

Summer Schedule will begin on 8th April 2013, with the launch of flyeuro’s summer schedule. Equally, the same procedure will follow for flyeuro’s new hubs in Hungary and Germany (Budapest Ferihegy and Berlin Schonefeld as airports respectively).

LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND – The press has gathered at the newly refurbished building at Albert Docks in Liverpool to interview the staff of a brand new European low-cost conglomerate, flyeuro.com. The plans of the airline are very ambitious, however at the opening conference, they have announced the opening of the recruitment process for pilots and staff. The airline is set to be a direct competitor, to some of European’s biggest low-cost airlines. flyeuro’s goal is “to become Europe’s favorite commercial virtual airline.” But can they pull it off?

With two operational hubs in United Kingdom (Liverpool and London Gatwick) and one in Poland (Katowice), flyeuro.com is operating over 100 routes daily to more than 50 European destinations, with over 30 Boeing 737 family type aircraft.

“We’ve been ambitious about what we’ve been doing to create the airline, we’re full of motivation to run it and we’re ambitious to expand and go that one step further – above and beyond…” said flyeuro’s Chief Executive Officer, Kamil Bonczyk. “We want to discover new lands, and give pilots and passengers a simple and a flexible experience. Three hubs and fifty destinations is just not enough for us.” – he added. When asked about plans for the future, he said “Possibly a BAe 146 for regional operations? Or maybe even a fourth hub for the Summer Schedule? It will all depend on the growth towards our ambitious goal”.

The airline has launched an extensive recruiting campaign at their website: http://flyeurova.com. Beside pilot recruitment, qualified individuals can try managerial careers within the airline. Additionally, we have asked the CEO a final question about the possibility of online operation expansions. “Come on people, join us, then we will expand online!” – he laughed, adding “It is our main objective, however without the public support, it’s impossible…”.
