Britannia Air Announces New Staff Member

James Crawley has just been accepted into the Britannia Air Staff Team. James brings with him extensive Virtual Airline management experience. Starting out at TransWorld Jetways he quickly worked his way through the ranks, earning his position as an international division manager and ultimately as the CEO. James also has real world pilot experience, and is currently studying to become a pilot.

James has taken the position of hub manager for our Heathrow Hub, and has already been hard at work assessing our schedules and introducing some new ones to our line-up. With the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm that James is bringing to Britannia Air, all other Britannia Air members are sure to benefit from his taking this position.

Global Air Cargo Hires New Staff and Receives New Aircraft

Global Air Cargo Virtual has hired a Chief of Human resources and now has another new job opening. The Job opening is a hub manager position this involves:

Submitting a monthly report on how your hub is going
Being active in the forums
Try to make airline events
Fly once a month
Have msn and/or skype for staff meetings
Knowledge of excel, have a copy of MS excel or open office excel

GACV would like to welcome Daniel Bidddle to the position of Chief of Human resources, he comes to us from the hub manager position at GACV, he has a lot of experience and will do his upmost to help anyone with any questions.

GACV also would like to say that they have received a new aircraft, the Boeing 777-200LRF, it only flies from KLAX to Europe as of now. GACV is in talks with Boeing to acquire more 777-200LRF’s for the future, and possibly base future 777’s at VHHH.

Cirrus Appoints Vice President of Operations

Today officials at new start-up airline Cirrus Air announced the appointment of Dan Genaw to the Vice President of Operations position. A real-world pilot, Dan operates the CRJ-700 for Go Jet, “I feel that his real-world experience and love for aviation will benefit Cirrus Air in more ways than one”, stated founder Jeremy Ballsmith.

“I am very excited to be given the opportunity to become apart of an airline with a clean slate, an airline that has yet to be built. I look forward to working with Jeremy and others on the Cirrus Air project, as well as those pilots who we hope to have join someday. I am confident in the Cirrus vision and in its people”, stated Genaw at a press conference.

With opening dates for Cirrus not yet released the airline still stands within the developmental stage, “Finally having a Vice President of Operations now we can start working on the major aspects to the airline, which range from details on routes to the completion of the airlines website and systems.”

However, despite the appointment of Dan Genaw as Vice President of Operations , the Human Resources Manager position is still open, the airline has plans to appoint someone to the HR position within the week.
