Virtualei.net has opened for membership. This new VA mirrors the real world Aer Lingus and is run by previous members of Caal Airways which closed 14th May 2017 after 6 years of operations.

There is a small and simple entrance exam to be taken to become a member and your first flight must be completed within 7 days of joining. The member must then complete 1 flight every 30 days.

We have the latest fully responsive modern Crew Center and use the tracking software smartCARS.

VirtualEI will be a fully active VA and its staff will be online every day to help with any queries. We promote flying on VATSIM but it is not compulsory. Our facebook group can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/414772292242091/

We also have a Teamspeak3 which can be used for joint flights and future events. We still have vacancies for 3 hub managers, a Ops Director and a HR Director. To apply for these positions you must be over 18 years of age and although knowledge of PHPVMS would be an advantage its not necessary as full training will be given.

We are pilot-centric in that we prefer not to simulate the ‘corporate’ side of an airline, focusing only on the daily operation itself. Fly UAA Opens It’s Doors

Welcome to Universal Air Alliance (FlyUAA.org). We officially launched on January 14, 2016, and the progress from then till now has been tremendous. FlyUAA is a code share Virtual Airline, allowing pilots to fly any aircraft, routes or airline they like and receive full credit with any version of flight simulator. We support FS9, FSX, FSX SE, P3D V1-3, X-Planes 9, 10. As a FlyUAA pilot, you may fly Commercial, Cargo, Bush Planes, Military Aircraft, and Helicopters. FlyUAA is the perfect Virtual Airline for the true Flight Simulator Enthusiast.

February 12, 2016 was the Grand Opening of FlyUAA, and as such we held our Grand Opening Event. Feb. 12 & Feb. 13 we flew to Viva Las Vegas for our Inaugural flight. All FlyUAA pilots who completed this tour, received the Inaugural flight Award.

Astraeus Airlines Starts Operations

Astraeus Airlines has started operations flying from our Hub at London Gatwick Airport.
We fly a fleet of Boeing 737-700 and 757-200 to destinations such as Sharm el-Sheikh, Berlin-Schonefeld and Palma.

We are also a charter airline flying our aircraft on routes you want to through our smartCARS 2 flight tracker.

You pick the Departure airport, Arrival airport and Aircraft then fly!

We fly online on Vatsim or Ivao as well as flying offline.

Flycatcher Aviation Commences Operations

The skies over Oklahoma will see more commercial airline traffic, as Flycatcher Aviation has started flying charter and on-demand cargo routes throughout the state. The Oklahoma City-based airline operates a fleet of two aircraft: a Cessna 340A and a Cessna 208 Cargomaster. Flycatcher has secured a contract flying machine parts from Oklahoma City to the Oklahoma pandhandle using the Cessna 208. Charter flights for up to five passengers to are able to be scheduled with less than 24 hours of notice.

The airline is a family company – and has a staff of two pilots (who happen to be brothers) as well as an administrative assistant. Flycatcher flies all flights on the VATSIM network, and utilizes X-Plane 10 and Carenado payware aircraft. A blog of recent flights is maintained, and the company’s flights can also be tracked on Vataware under the airline code FCR.

aeroJet VA Launches Operations

A brand new low-cost Virtual Airline has formally launched operations the week of March 7th.

aeroJet VA will mirror the real-world operations of a successful U.K low-cost operator , and aims to fly 220 airbus A319 and A320 series aircraft on over 700 routes across 30 countries in and around Europe. This will trigger a significant recruitment drive for the VA.

aeroJet boasts custom ACARS tracking software in its aeroTrack program, and will aim to provide a highly realistic experience for its Flight Crew.

A spokesperson for the VA stated : “There is big demand for this popular Airbus operator in the VA sector. We are recruiting Airbus flight crews all across our European bases to hopefully make aeroJet as large and successful as its real-world icon”
