We are Proud to announce the completion of 500+ Virtual Flying Hours & 250+ Virtual Flights Flown. All of our members are to be awarded with double hours on each virtual flight they fly till 20th September 2012.

August 2012 has been seen to be a month filled up of new recruitements and PIREPs for Pakistan International Airlines Simulation Virtual. This month our VA Central position is 120. This month our members recorded a total of 22 PIREPs. This month PIAS Virtual has received a total of 20 new pilots which is a great improvement last month we had received a total of only 11 pilots. Congratulations to all pilots and staff for achieving this.

Coming to the pilot of the month award, for August 2012 the pilot of the month award goes to Jose C. Kokol (PIA11124) who recorded the most hours (23 hours) and miles flown (3607 Miles). This month as well as a total of 8 virtual flights. He has shown keen interest in the flying operations of PIAS Virtual and has hopefully enjoyed his virtual career with us. He has been awarded 50 bonus hours.

In events we have our most avaited event starting from 19th September 2012 which is the Annual Virtual Hajj Flight Ops. 2012. The fleet being used at the event will be Boeing 777 & Boeing 747.

Last month we informed you that we have a repaint of the PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES BOEING 777-300ER AP-BHV coming up we would like to announce that hopefully by the mid of September 2012 it will be released and will be available for download.

Our virtual airline community continues to grow as we are getting new members day by day and specially our staff dedication to PIAS is highly appreciated.

We would also like to welcome the SHAHEEN AIR INTERNATIONAL AIRBUS A330-300 VQ-BCW to our virtual airlines fleet. Special Event for the welcoming of the new bird is upcoming as soon as we get ready with the repaint for it.

Coming to the Pilot of the month award , For July 2012 the pilot of the month award goes to Ayaz Jamail (PIA11042) who recorded the most hours (4 Hours) & miles flown (1001 Miles). this month as well as a total of 4 virtual flights. He has shown keen interest in the flying operations of PIAS Virtual and has hopefully enjoyed his virtual career with us. He has been awarded 50 bonus hours.

In our staff roster we have a lot of changes. Danish Farid has been promoted to Director Flight Operations. Other staff has also been reshuffled.

In events we have the ongoing Formula 1 Event which is scheduled till November 2012. A new event which is a pre part of the upcoming Hajj Operations 2012 known as the Ramadan Umrah Special Flights 2012 which is scheduled to continue till the end of Ramadan using B777-300ER and B747-300 Fleet of PIA (PIAS Virtual) operating flights from major cities of Pakistan to the major cities of Saudi Arabia (Madinah , Makkah & Jeddah). For this event a special award is also to be given for which our respective members can check the forums for details on it.

Lastly I would also like to notify all of our members and flight simmers that we have 2 Repaint(s) coming up. The first one is the PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES BOEING 777-300ER AP-BHV and the other one is the SHAHEEN AIR INTERNATIONAL AIRBUS A330-300 VQ-BCW.

Most importantly , MashAllah by the Grace of Allah Pakistan International Airline’s Simulation Virtual has been ranked 2nd Worldwide in a worldwide competion amongst over200 virtual airlines. We secured a total of 73 votes. We thank all who voted for us! For our members we are giving all our active members who were active in June 2012 10 Bonus Hours as a token of thanks!

We also remained in 110 – 120′s position at VACentral. This month our members recorded a total of 40 PIREPs which is a great improvement as compared to the last months report Last month we had 36 PIREPs but this month we have received 4 more PIREPs. This month PIAS Virtual has received a total of 8 new pilots. Congratulations to all pilots and staff for achieving this.

For June 2012 the pilot of the month award like May 2012 again goes to Waqar Imran (PIA11037) who recorded the most hours (5 Hours) & miles flown (5449 Miles). this month. He has shown keen interest in the flying operations of PIAS Virtual and has hopefully enjoyed his virtual career with us. He has been awarded 50 bonus hours.

Earlier I informed you about Fahad Usmani who was the Director Corporate Planning at PIAS Virtual Staff but now he has been promoted to Director Human ResourceAdministration & Control as well as he is the Director Crew Training. He was promoted this month after his outstanding performance! I would like to appreciate his performance.

I would also like to introduce you to Danish Farid who has been kept as the Manager Flight Operations. Danish will be responsible for all the PIREPs filed throughout the month and give the report to the admin in the end of the month. For this month we are having 2 ongoing events which are F1 Season Event which goes on till November 2012 and the second one is the Dubai Shopping Festival Virtual Flights 2012 which goes on till 14th July 2012. We had an event finished this month regarding “Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Cricket Flights 2012″ for which the winner is Danish Farid. Danish Farid had the most number of virtual flights for the event and he has been awarded with Payware Scenery.

InshAllah PIAS Virtual shall start the hajj flights as well probably in Octobers end or November as per the schedule of PIA.

What is PIAS Virtual?

PIAS (Pakistan International Airlines Simulation Virtual) is Pakistan’s third virtual airline. We simulate Pakistan International Airlines, the flag carrier of Pakistan.PIAS (Pakistan International Airlines Simulation Virtual) was relaunched on 14th October 2011 by Ahad Imran. We at PIAS Virtual replicate the real world PIA flight operations with pure accuracy. We at PIAS Virtual also want our members to enjoy the flight simulation experience for that we have special events for which there are at times certain restrictions as well. The member who wins the event is provided with a special award from PIAS Virtual which is normally in the form of A payware scenery or a payware item for there Flight Simulator. What is a Virtual Airline?

A virtual airline is an online community of like minded Flight Simulator enthusiasts that want to get more out of simply flying between two points. We have our own corporate livery, detailed selection of flights and dedicated team of staff to offer a realistic, fun and professional virtual airline carrier that recreates the operations of a real-world airline.

Our mission is to simulate PIA Pakistan’s Flag carrier for recreation Purposes ONLY. We are no way affiliated with any real world operations. All the operations of our VA are simulated on the Flight Simulator i.e: FSX (Flight Simulator X) , XPLANE , FS2004 (Flight Simulator 2004) ect.
