Spearheaded by a real-world Qatar Airways pilot, Qatar Airways Virtual uses Mike Smith’s Virtual Airline Financial System (VAFS) to track flights and maintains a rank-based system that allows pilots to work their way up from the narrow-bodied Airbus A319, A320, and A321 to the heavy wide-bodied Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330 and A340.
