SmartJet virtual has now been in operation for 6 months, and in that time we have expanded rapidly from a fleet of 2 Boeing 737-700′s, now to a fleet of over 20 aircraft including Boeing 737-600′s, -700′s, and -800′s, and we haven’t stopped there! In June we are set to launch our new regional carrier En-route Airline, the airline will serve smaller Canadian destinations including Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Regina Saskatchewan, and Lethbridge Alberta. Aside from our growth we have also begun to re-imagine our airline with our new Logo, and the addition of 2 new American routes to both KLAX, and KMCO.

SmartJet Virtual is pleased to announce that we have taken off into 2014 with some great new upgrades to our airline! After having our old phpVMS site hacked, and having to shut down for some time, we are now officially back in action, and we are better than ever, serving 50+ destinations across Canada and the United States, and operating a fleet of 53 Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 13 Boeing 737-800′s on order along with 2 Boeing 787-8′s to serve farther destinations such as travel destinations in the Caribbean and select destinations in Europe. As we had to start our airline out fresh after the hacking, we are very low on pilots and are always looking for new pilots!

SmartJet Virtual: Ready To Soar High!

SmartJet Virtual now has our re-paints in and our website is about 80% completed, we are still however as always allowing new pilots to register and fly with us at the moment. Currently our pilot center is the only thing that is really still under construction, along with the creation of our flight tracking system, so for now all SmartJet pilots must file manual PIREPS via the flysmartjet.net pilot center, however we hope to have our PHPVMS site, including our flight tracking software up and running by January 2014, however we cannot say for sure. We would like to say thanks to all the pilots already registered with us here at SmartJet Virtual, and would like to encourage anyone who is not a pilot with SmartJet to please give us a try!
