Uno Airways announced
New Amsterdam Schiphol based
UnoAirways, has started accepting pre-registrations. The airline which
planned to start operations on 1st January 2006 has rumoured that it
plans to start as early as October.
The airline, which has it’s
first A320 aircraft, PH-UNE, delivered last month and expects delivery
of the rest of the fleet by the end of September.

FSCargo preview
Today FSAddon.com has
published a preview of FSCargo. FSCargo is not just another load
management software, it’s a whole new idea.
It allows you to pick up cargo and move it to another airfield within a
specified time limit. You can even select from a number of assignments,
each with a different type of cargo.

Active Camera updated
AntiCyclonE has updated
ActiveCamera to version 2.1. This update comes with a virtual tower
view which enables watching AI-traffic from the tower.
A bug in FlyBy mode has been
solved and approach mode acts like it did before version 2.0.

IVAO releases updated pilot client
IVAO has released an update
of their pilot client IVAP and their MTL aircraft libraries.
These updates include improvements to the Follow Me Car,
Inspection Car.
Furthermore enhancements were made to IvAp to
support future additions to the pilot client software.

Virtual Canadian Airlines starts operations
In a press release
today, Virtual Canadian Airlines announced it has started operations.
Spokesman Craig Fischer
said:"Virtual Canadian Airlines uses the name of Canadian Airlines
International, but operates it’s own new schedule and aircraft and have
hubs in Toronto and Vancouver."

SPA celebrates 5th anniversary
Five years ago, Thomas Katsampes founded a small virtual airline
called St. Paul Commuter Air Service, which started out at St. Paul
Downtown airport (ICAO: KSTP). Thomas Katsampes is now retired from the VA, however the airline still exists.
Already that first year the airline started to add hubs and aircraft.
The VA was then renamed to St. Paul Airlines (SPA) and moved from KSTP to Minneapolis-St
Paul International Airport (ICAO: KMSP)

Euroair opens their gates
Euroair have officially opened their gates for business this week, as
the fleet of Airbus A320’s, Boeing 747’s and Bombardier CRJ-200’s
landed in their North-East England base of Newcastle International
(EGNT) in preparations for the first flights, jetting customers off all
over Europe.
