FlyChenoa Cancels AN-148

Carl Kendrick, CEO of FlyChenoa Virtual Airline, today announced that the much anticipated FlyChenoa UK Regional Service "City Jumper" has been put on hold and will not be involved in the launch of the airline.
FlyChenoa have found problems with the AN-148, although the aircraft has some excellent STOL capabilities, the aircraft seem dangerously slow when turning, which leads to loss of altitude. FlyChenoa are not willing to accept the dangers that come with a fault of this nature.

New Saturday Scramble Partner

The virtual skies above Northern America will be crowded coming Saturday, as United Virtual Airlines and Virtual Air Canada announced today that Virtual-USAairways is now fully integrated into operations of the ongoing Saturday afternoon VATSIM group event, The Saturday Scramble.
Combined, the three virtual airlines count more than 1,700 pilots. This brings a very large base of potential participants to an online event.

Dash Airways Receives F-50, Orders Dash 8

Yesterday Dash Airways received its Fokker 50. The aircraft was bought some time ago, but was awaiting approval from aviation officials to transfer to the new airline. The airline also has ordered a Dash 8-100 for the London - Paris Charles de Gaulle route as well as a late flight to Keflavik Nas.
