Corporate Air to acquire 2 caravan’s

Corporate Air, a Seattle based on demand cargo feeder service announced the acquisition of 2 Cessna Caravan 208B’s. The lease agreement provides Corporate Air with a total of two Caravan’s with the option of three more.

After talks with an Alaskan based financial firm “We sealed the deal” stated the airlines Operations Manager Christopher McGee. FlyUK opens flying club

Fly UK, one of the UK’s leading virtual airlines, celebrating its 4th year of operations this year, has today launched a new flying club for its pilots.

The new flying club, which has bases in the UK at Cumbernauld, Sherburn and Shoreham allows pilots to have a break from the normal scheduled operations and hop into a light aircraft or helicopter for some VFR flying! Pilots are encouraged to fly on the airlines in-house FSD server, although also welcomes pilots to fly online on the IVAO/VATSIM networks. The club plans to organise regular group and adventure events as well as introducing a number of club tours, including a UK helicopter tour. Eurobelgian Airlines launched

After months of preparatory work, the new Eurobelgian Holding has started operations today.

Flanders Airlines, founded in 2006 has been asked to join the GlobalOne alliance. To meet with the targets of this alliance, the parent company of Flanders Airlines, the ACBA Group, has decided to reintegrate the airline inside a new holding.

The result of this decision can be found in the “Eurobelgian Holding”. The holding company will comprise two airlines: the existing, but changed Flanders Airlines and a new airline, named Eurobelgian Airlines.
Although both airlines are seen as two separated airlines, they will work under one AOC. This will result in one commercial website, one crew list and an extended cooperation. On 5th September, EuroHarmony has reached 220 new pilots for the first time on their history.

Bruno, the president says “This is a true reward of our effort in order to give new features and innovations to our pilots”.

EuroHarmony’s 2008 objective is to reach December 31, 2008 with 250 new pilots.

Eskimo VA revealed

A deal has been reached between two high profile VATSIM members regarding the development of an “Eskimo VA”. The project has been under lock and key for a couple of weeks however, some information has been provided from an unknown senior staff member.

“Eskimo VA will model the real world operations of Alaska Airlines. At this point in time we have not publicly released a timetable for development.” stated the senior staff member.  Eskimo VA is predicted to become a Seattle-based carrier that collectively serves more than 70 destinations in the Western U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
