Simulated B6 to open next month

Simulated B6 will commence operations October 1st . The virtual airline,
based on JetBlue Airways, introduces a realistic hiring process.
Prospective pilots will go through a series of steps to determine their added value for the airline.

The process includes a background check where VATSIM and VA records are
being investigated followed by an interview. A chief pilot will review
this information. If everything goes well, a training date for the
pilot is then determined.

On their website, B6 states this process is based on a problem many virtual airlines face.
"Too many virtual airlines are being flooded by inactive pilots, and always a few ‘bad apples’ that ruin things for everyone."
