NL-2000 v3 scenery release date set

The Netherlands 2000 team has decided to release version 3 in the first half of 2006.
The development team has been reluctant to release information on the new
NL2000 version 3 as to not make any promises
we can’t keep.

Version 3 consists of a photoreal surface with a
resolution of 1 meter (3 feet) per pixel. Comparable sceneries use a
resolution of more than 4 meters per pixel.

"We do expect frame rates to improve in comparison to version 2.92, " a spokesman said.

There will be an all new Schiphol Airport,
rebuilt from scratch. It will be more detailed and accurate than the
one in version 2.92. What’s more important, the runways, taxiways,
beacons and other stuff will align nicely with FS2004
