AFA prepares for hurricane Rita

American Flight Airways (AFA) is preparing for Hurricane Rita by
evacuating most of its staff and travelers out of Houston, TX and
Beaumont, TX.
AFA has decided to cease all flights from Beaumont, TX and at both its
Houston operations at Hobby (KHOU) and Bush Intercontinental Airports
(KIAH).

All AFA, AFA Express and Alpha Jet flights at these airports are
cancelled on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning. American
Flight Airways expects to resume operations at these airports Sunday
early afternoon. We strongly encourage all passengers to check online
on flyafa.com to verify the status of their flight.

"We are commited to the safety of all our passengers and employees"
said Thomas Snoeck, AFA President. He added: "We have offered our help
to the Red Cross and many other charity organizations to fly their
personnel and aid to the affected area as soon as possible."
