Last Monday, Westernair began a whole host of new services.
The route network expansion announced just under a month ago came into
effect on monday with new services to mainland Europe and the East
coast of America.
The airline acquired three new A320 aircraft and one Boeing 757 to add to its fleet of three Dash 8′s for the new services.
New destinations include New York, Boston, Oslo, Amsterdam and Berlin, all operated from Westernair’s home base Bristol, UK.
Airline Chairman Leo Chancellor said: "These new routes have proved
very popular in there first couple of days of operation and Westernair
is now on the map as a international airline."
Airline officials also hinted at the plans to open a new hub airport early next year.
