Today the regional division of air Belgium, air Belgium
Connection has presented its new routes that will be launched on
January the 1st 2006. These new routes will be made possible thanks to
the reintroduction of the ATR72 in the fleet.
Besides adjusting existing routes and opening new routes from existing
bases the most important change is the opening of a new hub in
Luxembourg.
"We believe, even though it’s a small city and airport, that flying
certain key routes from Luxembourg will be very succesfull since the
current lack of connections towards Luxembourg in the VA world, " CEO
Danny Stess said.
Luxembourg was already served by feeder flights for the Brussels hub
and some leisure destinations in southern europe and will now be
complemented by more business routes.
