Spanish iber.com opens

Spain’s newest virtual airline, Iber.com, opened its doors a
few days ago. The airline is based at Palma de Mallorca airport
offering flights to Europe, Africa, Asia and the United States.

"We work only with payware add-ons. For the destinations, as for the fleet, " said CEO Tom Van Bockstaele.

The fleet consists of ATR72-500, B737-800, B767-300 and B747-400 aircraft, all repainted in the fresh Iber.com livery.

In other news, the airline said it is brainstorming about using the VATSIM network for online flights.
"But for now, we will just use the default flight simulator multiplayer
for on-line events until we get VATSIM set up. We will try to have an
event once every weekend, " vice CEO Scott Erb said.
