Virtual Air Warfare Training Centre announces controversial recruiting process

The Virtual Air Warfare Training Centre (VAWTC) has recently received funding to begin its recruiting process. The process is controversial because all applicants are required to have a minimum age of 21 and varied skill levels and of different specialities.

When CO VAWTC, Col Matt Courtley, was asked why an age limit for applicants had been stipulated, he stated "We dont mean to discriminate, and will still accept applications from under 21′s. That limitation is meant as more of a guideline so that we get good, high quality, mature aircrew through our doors."

He continues: "I am very aware that there are hordes of extremely talented under 21′s out there and I invite them to apply, indeed, if anyone feels they have something to offer us, or if they have any enquiries, I invite them to contact me directly at Admin@VAWTC.co.uk. VAWTC’s busy future lies in the recruitment of exceptional personnel, who are not only highly capable pilots and specialised controllers, but who also have other talents to offer."

The Virtual Air Warfare Training Centre is a resource for all Military VA’s. Their mission is to provide VAF’s with Aggressor forces, Training Courses and a twice yearly, multi VAF, International Air Warfare exercise.
