VUSSP To Launch EWOS-1 Satellite

Earth Weather Observation Satellite or EWOS-1 for short will soon be making it’s way off to space by way of a Delta II rocket.

VUSSP plans to launch the rocket this Saturday, and hopes the new Satellite will allow the organization to make better weather observations. EWOSAT Earth Weather Observation Satellite network, is the name of the project VUSSP is working under. The goal for EWOSAT is global weather coverage, serving as an early warning and weather detection system.

VUSSP plans to make 3 additional rocket launches in the future, as the EWOSAT requires 4 Satellites to complete the network. VUSSP will be broadcasting live to the public via voice and live video of the launch.
