Great Aussie Air Rally 2006 announced

Bluegrass Airlines announces the Great Aussie Air Rally of 2006.

A series of 20 flights beginning February 1st and continueing every
other day through March 9th will circumnavigate the South-East quadrant
of Australia.

Eligible aircraft will be those that were flying in the 1930′s, 1940′s
and 1950′s that are capable of landing and taking off on a 3,250′
runway and have sufficient range for a 306 NM flight including
reserves. According to spokesperson Bill Von Sennet the average flight
is 177 nautical miles.

Applications will be accepted thru January 25th, 2006. For more
