XLA Virtual has recently had a management shift around. The CEO and Founder of XLA Virtual has been forced to step back.
Daniel Chester has been appointed as the new CEO.
Lewis Lynch, Former CEO of XLA Virtual, had this to say: "After much consideration, I feel I have no option but to take a back-seat in the running of XLA Virtual. Life is now coming to the point where I don’t have the time that I used to."
He then added:"Rather than end the VA, which has had great success in its short-history, I will remain as Chairman and Founder."
The XLAv Management team hopes that this will not been seen as a setback but rather, a step forward.
Daniel Chester has already started to implement plans to increase the VA’s activity and member count. These plans should help XLAv stick around for many years to come.
Elite Air
Mr Chester has been around in the virtual airline industry for a while. Back in September
he announced a new airline, called Elite Air. However we haven’t heard of this airline since October. When asked if there was any news about this airline, Mr Chester answered:"I am still working on it, though school stuff has set me back slightly."
"There are no plans to merge it with XLAv yet however, there could be a chance of that happening in the future," he commented.
