AirSouthWest takes to the skies

Yesterday we reported that AirSouthWest was about to open.
Today we can announce the opening of this virtual airline. Steven
Gittins, spokesman announced today the airline’s opening. " I’m pleased
to say AirSouthWest is now open and looking for pilots that enjoy
flying the Dash 8-300, " he says.

"The VA is there for the pilots and I’ll welcome any comments they might
have to try and improve the VA," he adds.

When asked about any  job openings, Steven answers: "We are also looking for managers and
training captains."

If you’re a Vatsim member, you have an advantage. "Unlike most VA’s we will look at your hours logged
on Vatsim as the starting hours at our VA," Steven says.
