Australian General Aviation (AGA) has announced that soon they will be commencing on creating AGA.
AGA will provide services for those people who don’t like to fly the ‘big iron’.
AGA will be hosted on the fly-va.com network.
"We are looking very forward to working with all the VA’s in the fly-va network, and we hope to construct a codeshare deal with another virtual airline, that will allow our pilots to fly the larger aircraft and route basis, " said Matthew Hogg, one of three founders and CEOs of the airline. Other founders and CEOs are Peter Cochrane, and Brett Cummings.
"We will provide a vast range of ‘GA’ aircraft, and the beauty of our VA is that you can fly anywhere you want – there are no routes – that’s what makes it a General Aviation Virtual Airline."
Ben Lord is appointed webmaster, and Mike Adams is the airline’s fleet manager.
"We expect to be up and running within 6 months, and are currently sourcing staff members for the following positions: -Chief Pilot -Director Public Relations -Director Human Resources -Alliances & Codeshare Manager -Operations Manager (Australia-wide operations) -Regional Operations Managers (NSW/ACT, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, NT, WA)"
