German Air Express goes VATSIM

        German Air Express (GAE) has choses VATSIM as their online flying partner.
"We favour online flying, as this type of flight handling best
represents that of reality. Approximately 95% of all our flights are
flown online and we have just made the transfer over to VATSIM" said
Grant Mahmutovic, spokesperson for GAE.

        He continues: "We
are a truly young virtual airline, which have set itself the goal of

simulating the activities of a real world airline."

        With a fleet of Boeing,
Airbus, Dash, Raytheon and Beech aircraft, their pilot can choose from
short hops and "holiday and long distance destinations, offering
something for everybody."

         One of the unique aspects, according to mr. Mahmutovic are the instructors.
"Especially for new hobby pilots in our airline a team of ‘instructors’
are available who possess a wide spectrum of technical knowledge which
they would be happy to pass onto you. This enables our pilots to follow
a complete instructional career starting with visual flights and
extending up to the most complicated instrument flight procedures."
