Air Belgium announces new destinations

        Brussels based Air
Belgium announced today its destinations for 2006. There are 10 new
destinations in Africa, a new service to Edmonton and restart of
services to Calgary.

        In the Middle East, Kuwait
and Abu Dhabi have been added. The airline has three new destinations
in Asia: Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, Calcutta in India and Yangon
(Myanmar).

To be able to fly all these
new services Air Belgium has ordered together with Nimrea (a Sydney
based VA) 14 new A330′s from Airbus. They will be divided into 8
A330-200′s and 6 A330-300′s and will be RR powered.

        Air Belgium selected the RR
engines instead of the GE engines on the already flying A330′s because
the RR engines offer a better range and payload.

        Of the order 8 A330-200′s
and 2 A330-300′s will go to Air Belgium while Nimrea will take delivery
of 4 A330-300′s. The planes are schedules to be delivered during the
course of 2006 but the exact delivery dates still need to be determined.
