New Australian VA Nimrea has launched

After almost a year of hard work, 4 name changes, 3
liveries, 2 website designs and 1 launch delay, Nimrea is now
officially online and accepting pilot registrations.

Nimrea Virtual Airways is a new Virtual Airline based in Sydney,
Australia operating a fleet of A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.

"We are launching operations up and down the East Coast of Australia as
well as Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin. We also have services into
Auckland, New Zealand, with an expansion into Perth and Broome as well
as Asia scheduled soon," said spokesman Dennis Kir

"An A330-300 is planned to be added into the fleet in a few months
with services to Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan to follow shortly
after."

Nimrea offers an extensive in-flight Kneeboard system available
for pilots, which allows you to watch a selection of Flight Sim movies,
show your virtual passengers a safety video, listen to more than 6
radio stations live as well as check moving satellite pictures of
Australia and being able to file PIREP’s, right from the comfort of
your flight deck.

"Also, for those of you familiar with Nimrea, you would also know
that we had a ProJet and Inspire Airline subsidiary, however these have
been terminated as, after much discussion, we thought this would make
our VA look like it was trying to grow too quickly, and this is just
what we are trying to avoid. Instead, we have reached an agreement with
air Belgium to connect their passengers onto other Australian cities."
