Eagle Wings efforts to become a regional leader in the virtual aviation world continue with a expansion of the current fleet.
After a few months of deliberating and weighing among the possible options the management has decided to expand Eagle Wings’ fleet with a number of aircraft types that will suite a number of route types the airline currently operates.
The said expansion of the fleet will consist of the following types of aircraft: in addition of the currently leased ATR 72-500, Airbus 320, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 747-400 and MD-11 Eagle Wings will lease a number of Dash Q-300, Fokker 70 and CRJ 700 aircraft.
“All of the planes that will be aded to our fleet will be leased and the number of each plane type will be decided by the need for a specific type of aircraft, ” CEO Ivan Ozvatic said.
The first planes are already in the paint hangar and will be avalaible for flights as soon as they get a new coat of paint.
Mr Ozvatic continued, “We here at the Eagle Wing management team hope to have the entire fleet expansion finished by the 01.04.2009, with the opening of our new hub and start the operations of the new fleet from the Zagreb(LDZA) and London(EGLL) hubs.”
