AEV celebrates first year anniversary

Aegean Airlines Virtual (AEE) celebrates the first year on virtual online operations.
        Therefore, a B737-700w
(SX-BB1) has been painted in special Anniversary Edition colors and is
available via AEE’s downloads page.
        In addition, a group of
events has been scheduled for the following weeks, starting with the
first leg from Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos” (LGAV) to Iraklion “Nikos
Kazantzakis” airport (LGIR), on Sunday 11th September 2005 at 1800z.

        Nektarios Anastasopoulos,
Chief Executive Officer said: "The year of 2004-2005 was a landmark for
our operations as we managed to include 28 Boeing aircrafts (Classics
and Ng) in our young fleet, open more than 25 routes in local and
European destinations network, as well as to develop and improve our
advanced Flight Operations Center services. This was not an easy task,
as we had to spend many hundreds hours of our free time, in order to
cope with the demanding purposes of our projects…"

        AEE Virtual is flying online
on IVAO network. At present, there are 28 pilots in the daily roster
who are selected for their character, skills and discipline. They
follow a demanding program in the Flight Assignments sector, where they
have to complete at least international and local flights, in their
2-monthly missions.

        "There’s no doubt that
joining AEE Virtual, you are joining a dedicated virtual airline with
high standards and quality on virtual airline operations. We have
proved that with more than 3000 hours flown online on more than 2000
flights," said mr. Anastasopoulos.
