Air Lambert celebrates 1st anniversary, opens US hub

Today Air Lambert announced the opening of its USA hub. The
actual opening took place September 5th, exactly one year after Air
Lambert started operations in the UK.

On September 5th 2004 LMT002 took off from Gatwick bound for Edinburgh. To mark
the anniversary, G-LMCF, one of Air Lambert’s A320’s has had a special ‘1’ balloon added
to its nose.

At 0600 (USA West Coast Time) LRT210, a Boeing 757-200 took off from San
Francisco bound for New York JFK
marking the start of Air Lambert’s USA division. The airline is
almost exactly the same as the UK division, even sharing the same pilot roster.
However, there are some minor changes.

"Due to the difference in the markets, the classes onboard differ. In
the USA short/medium haul flights offer US ELITE and US Economy. The
new US Elite cabin is a lesser version of the main ELITE product
available on long haul flights. US Economy is exactly that of Euro
Economy. On long haul flights all classes remain the same," explained Sam Lambert, founder and CEO of Air Lambert.

About half of the fleet is
now available, the others will be finished painting by the end of the
week.

Pilots from both AirLambert UK and AirLambert USA now use the same
computer system to retrieve flight information and schedules.
Air Lambert USA has its own site, accessible
through the new entrance page and it follows the same format
of that for the UK.

        In other news, Air Lambert
announced it has started online flying with live ATC. More information
will be released when it becomes available.
