ATA Virtual releases vDispatch, celebrates anniversary!

ATA Virtual launched today what CEO Nick Bartolotta called, "a
revolutionary piece of gold" – vDispatch. The system acts as a virtual
flight dispatcher exclusively for ATAv, and uses real-world data to
give you a dispatch report.
Registered ATAv pilots have immediate access to the system, which is integrated into the airlines schedules.
Chief Operations Officer Alec Peters, who headed the vDispatch program,
said earlier, "The vDispatch system is a huge jump in realism for ATAv
and I think it will greatly improve the overall flying experience as
well."

Today was another milestone in ATAv’s history as they celebrated their
one-year anniversary! One year ago today, ATAv opened it’s doors and
has since grown to be one of the most well-recongized VA’s in its
class.

"ATA is an airline, but they are more than that.
ATA is a family, and in our quest to emulate them, our goal has been to
create that same environment. Folks, we’ve done it, " Mr. Bartolotta told his staff earlier today in his "State of the Airline".

"We have ambition, and if we continue to hold onto that, there are no limits for our airline, " he continued.

In conjunction with the celebration, Indy Hub Manager, Matthew Laiter, released a video to commemorate ATA virtuals birthday.
