American Airways delays opening

American Airways virtual announced last night that it will be opening its gates to
pilots and passengers sometime in the month of February.

Greg Calderin, the CEO of the virtual airline spoke a few words before he left the headquarters of American Airways, saying: "we are extremely excited, we have been
working on this airline for a very long time, making sure that it was just
right, all we have to do is try and meet that launch date and hopefully all
goes great."

American Airways virtual was at first planning to open its doors to the public on January 3rd 2006, but due to a fleet problem, they had to delay it one month.

"We also
spoke with the fleet manager of the airline, he mentioned that the airline
would start off with small fuel efficient aircraft, and soon would expand the
fleet to long haul aircrafts."

"Knowing that American Airways is flying
mostly domestic flights for now, there is really no rush to order long haul
aircraft".

American Airways is expanding its destinations to different states rapidly, trying to
reach its goal which is "to make the world smile one seat at a time."
