Trans-Congo celebrates 5th Anniversary
Another celebration is in order, as Trans-Congo Express announced it’s celebrating its 5th anniversary in operations.
The airline began it’s operations in 2000 when CEO and Founder Johan Meijer established the virtual airline in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"The circumstances were difficult in this country that has suffered from a bloody and complicated civil war. Now we want to make a contribution to the peace process by connecting cities and develop in this way the country," CEO Johan Meijer said.
Trans-Congo does not plan to celebrate the event with any special activities due to the airlines re-organization efforts currently under way.
