ATAv Announces Honolulu Hub

ATA Virtual announced today that it is opening its third hub in sunny Honolulu, Hawaii. Known for its beautiful weather and laid back atmosphere, the 50th state will now see more ATA Virtual pilots in its skies.

Assistant Hub Manager Chase Stigberg has been promoted to Honolulu Hub Manager. In a statement, Stigberg said, “I’m very excited to see a new hub finally open!” adding, “It’ll be a big challenge to get it up and running, but I know this will be a big success."

The HNL hub is an important part of the ATA Virtual system. Scheduled flights are offered to four west coast cities, with seemingly endless charter destinations. ATA is a major vacation carrier, so HNL is naturally a fitting base. Legacy flights as well as military charters (from nearby Hickam Air Force Base) are also available.

Today, CEO Nick Bartolotta commented, "With ATA’s increased market share in the Hawaiian region, it is only fitting ATAv expands our hub operations there for pilots. The staff and I are thrilled to finally see the hub opening, and we’re confident it will attract pilots interested in the region."

The HNL Hub website can be found at http://www.atavirtual.com/index.php?view=hubs&ext=hnl.

As ATAv enters its 14th month of operations, the company is bringing more convenient, value-based service to the virtual skies. ATAv provides features pilots have come to expect, including an advanced pre-flight dispatch system, over 1000 flights worldwide, an active forum, simplified and professional website, and a staff team who is completely dedicated to the airline.
Through direct and connecting codeshare flights, ATAv now serves customers in more than 60 markets, including major business and leisure destinations such as Houston, New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Cancun and Guadalajara.
