Devonair are pleased to announce that they have finalised a contract with Nottingham/East Midlands Airport (NEMA) to commence services from mid February. Initially, 3 ex-GO/easyJet Boeing 737-300 aircraft will be based at the midlands airport, to operate to a variety of destinations, with a massive expansion into the growing Eastern European markets.
Proposed launch routes include Alicante, Amsterdam, Budapest (Hungary), Faro, Innsbruck, Krakow (Poland), Nice, Palma, Prague, Riga (Latvia), Toulouse, and Venice, with launch fares at just £19.99 one way + tax to all destinations.
"We are very excited that Devonair have chosen to base aircraft at NEMA", said a spokesperson for the airport, "The decision to open 12 routes gives our customers even greater choice when it comes to their travel plans. Eastern europe in particular, has until now, been very hard to get to without flying from a London airport or via an european gateway, and we can see a huge demand for these services. Devonair have become a real force to be recognised within the low fares sector, and we look forward to seeing more aircraft arriving in the near future."
