WPA Gives Special Thanks

West – Penn Air is a virtual air charter service that operates out of the New
Castle Municiple Airport in New Castle, Pa. In 2002, Christian Kramer designed
WPA after a real life charter service that he worked for, at a local airport.
Simply starting out with a Piper Archer and a rented hanger, the goal was to
grow into a leading virtual airline. To make growth a challenge, instead of just
adding aircraft and routes, Kramer started with a simulated bank loan to buy the
aircraft. As CEO, Kramer said "I didn’t know half of what I thought I did about running a
virtual airline". One day after some frustrating times for WPA, a man by the
name of Marco Fabiani, submitted an application, and joined. "The best part was
that he only lived about 10 miles from me" stated Kramer. Not too long after
joining, Fabiani, saw the troubles that were plaguing the virtually new airline,
and offered his assistance. Fabiani has a background in business accounting.
They were getting organized and on the right track, when things really fizzled
out.

Kramer was working about 65 hours a week at his real job, and with family and
real life, didn’t have the time for WPA. The new airline "crashed". About a year
later, Kramer started working on revamping the airline, this has been over an
unsteady period of about 4 years. Kramer, "I was working on the site when I
thought about Fabiani and that I should get a hold of him, but figured that he
probably would not be interested after what happend the first time".

Early the next moring, Kramer received a surprise email. It was Marco Fabiani,
Kramer was in disbelief. Since then Kramer and Fabiani have spent countless
hours working to make WPA what it should be. The website was totally redone.

Fabiani devised a new system of creating flights, with the possibility of
gaining and losing business, to keep the real world charter theme. Also, he used
his business sense to revise some of the website, come up with ideas to make
such a small airline appealing to other pilots, and to make certain tasks less
time consuming.

"Without the help of Marco Fabiani, were would West – Penn Air be
today?" Kramer said.

"I would like to
publicly thank Marco Fabiani for all of his hard work and dedication in making
WPA an airline that is worth flying. The Vice President Position that he now
holds was truly earned and well deserved. Thank you Marco, you are appreciated greatly, and vital to the future of West-Penn air", Kramer stated.
