LowJet airways announced today that their first Boeing 737-800 by Project Opensky was launched into the fleet.
A spokesman from LowJet said "It is great that we now have this fantastic aircraft in our fleet, it is enabling us to expand further into the virtual airline world and maintain a modern fleet of aircraft, we are pleased that we have this aircraft ready and waiting to be put into operation and hope to do so on the 9th of this month."
At 13:05pm on the 2nd of April LowJets new Boeing 737-800 took its maiden voyage in LowJets full livery from Kent Manston to London Stansted airport, the aircraft will be kept in a hanger at London Stansted for its press day in which members, staff, aviation enthusiasts and the media will be able to attend the grand unveiling of this aircraft later this week, the aircraft will then stay in the hanger at London Stansted until it is put into full operation on the 9th of this month.
