Air Belgium Reveils New Colour Scheme

Air Belgium (ABB) reveiled its new colour scheme earlier this week. According to CEO Danny Stes, the new colour scheme has a more classy and stylish look.

"Our new styling reflects our aim to provide excellent service and value for money. We will keep the famous B-tail which makes us recognisable throughout the world but have decided to redesign the fuselage in a more vivid and contemporary way to indicate that we at Air Belgium are always the first at originality and design, setting new standards for our competitors to match, " Mr Stes said.

The new colorsheme will slowly appear on the Air Belgium fleet, all aircraft that will be delivered from the factory will receive the new colors as well as current planes that will undergo a D-check.
This means that both colorshemes can still be seen during the following years and that the new colors will only slowly replace the older ones.

New Interior
Together with a new exterior design Air Belgium will also be refurbishing all of its aircraft cabins.

Mr Stes explains, "The short-haul fleet will receive new leather seats with a magazine pouch located above the tray table to create more legspace and a more ergonomically designed seat to enhance the flying comfort even more.
The long-haul will receive new Diamond class seats which are a giant leap forward compared to the old ones. Our new seats will be in leather and can be reclined into a fully flat bed to make it an even better premium product."

There are even more changes within ABB.

Mr Stes continues, "Also our in-flight services will be influenced by our new styling. Every flight will have it’s special touches, small example will be the yellow orange juice on leisure flights and the red orange juice on business flights. Our meal services will be improved in all classes to offer a better dining experience in the skies."
