Varig Log Joins Evergreen Capital Management Fleet
Senior management team at Evergreen Capital Management (ECM) announced today that Varig Log airlines will be joining the FlyVirtual family of carriers.
With it’s long history of carrier achievements in serving the Americas the Varig team brings to the FlyVirtual family a wealth of equipment and routes Headed by Jose Hartman who brings with him a strong VA experience and management expertise, Varig will be positioned to add a significant value to the Virtual Cargo industry with regularly schedule routes around the globe. Operations will begin immediately, but it will take some time for the management team to integrate with the ECM family. It is expected to see systems coming online in the next few days. In an early morning press conference with investors today in Chicago ECM Chairman Louis Merck welcomed Jose and the Varig team, "We add a strong and leading carrier today to the FlyVirtual family and look forward to the exciting opportunities that Varig brings in freight logistics capabilities for ECM and the virtual cargo logistics community" Mr. Merck was quoted as saying.
