FlyChenoa Cancels AN-148

Carl Kendrick, CEO of FlyChenoa Virtual Airline, today announced that the much anticipated FlyChenoa UK Regional Service "City Jumper" has been put on hold and will not be involved in the launch of the airline.
FlyChenoa have found problems with the AN-148, although the aircraft has some excellent STOL capabilities, the aircraft seem dangerously slow when turning, which leads to loss of altitude. FlyChenoa are not willing to accept the dangers that come with a fault of this nature.

Carl Kendrick said, "Here at FlyChenoa we put the passengers and crew safety before any profit margins. Although we had a favourable lease with Kras Air, we are truly unable to run the service with this aircraft.
If Kras Air engineers can fix/solve these problems, the AN-148 may yet feature as part of the FlyChenoa fleet, but to be honest, the odds are not looking to good."

FlyChenoa are now looking into purchasing four EMB-120 aircraft for the routes.

FlyChenoa will open in the next 7-10 days, the date still to be confirmed. The directors are still unsure at what date the City Jumper will commence.
