Westernair executives today announced in a press release to the VAFlash that it plans to lease two of it's Dash-8-200Q aircrafts that have been sitting in storage since May to FlyChenona.
The move comes after FlyChenoa announced to the public that it had eliminated the AN-148 from its City Jumper fleet after finding troubling issues with the aircraft. No word on if Carl Kendrick's City Jumper will launch with FlyChenoas official launch date.
"This was a welcome deal for Westernair and would help to fund the acquisition of Westernairs two new ERJ-170 aircraft," commented a Westernair spokesperson.
The length and financial details of the lease were not disclosed.
