New Italian VA Ali Di Trieste sets opening date

Not many virtual airlines exist in Italy nowadays, but today Trieste, Italy based Ali Di Trieste VA announced its opening date, which is set to September 22.The airline presents itself as a ‘low cost, family friendly’ airline with a strong focus on customer service and reliability.

A company spokesman told reporters that the airline’s primary goal is to improve the Flight Simulation community, not by having the ‘latest and greatest custom software,  most pilots or any other pointless claims’.

“We hope to improve the community by providing a close-knitted airline with comfort and reliability for our pilots, ” the spokesman said.

With its home base in Trieste, Ali Di Trieste is currently a national airline with connections to Milan, Genoa, Venice and some other Italian cities.

The airline has ordered eight ERJ-145′s, six of which have already been delivered. The other two are expected to arrive in early September providing enough time to get them outfitted for the opening day.
