Today officials at new start-up airline Cirrus Air announced its future plans to base operations from Chicago Midway Intl. Airport. “Were very excited that both the City of Chicago and the Chicago Airport System have come to hear our proposal and provide us with such a fantastic offer. We can assure all of Chicago, both its travelers and its elected officials, that the choice made is one that will come to benefit the Chicago area for years to come”, stated Jeremy Ballsmith CEO and Founder of Cirrus.
Airbus A320
Cirrus Air plans to operate from Chicago Midway to more popular destinations including New York’s JFK, Orlando and Buffalo. The airline has confirmed to taking ownership over 5 Airbus A320-232 aircraft with options for 20 more by the end of 2010. Operating from what once was the ATA, ATA Connection and Ted terminal Cirrus offers pilots and customers unbeatable service, great destinations, aircraft, and most importantly a chance to start out in a new airline and help it grow.
