Bluenor Virtual Airlines Announces Opening Next Month

Bluenor Virtual Airlines of Norway is set to launch during the coming month. The CEO Joakim Holmstrom Zenk and the President Daniel Hedlund have decided on the fleet after a long evaluation process.

“We are going to fly 3 Airbus A318-111′s with a configuration with 111 economy seats and 6 Premium Economy seats”, Daniel Hedlund expressed.  All seats will get IFE systems installed in the seatbacks and leg rests in Premium Economy.

In Premium Economy, hot meals will be served and in Economy only cold meals will be served, but hot meals are offered for purchase.

We decided to fly the Airbus A318 when we couldn’t find and Embraer 190′s out on the market, and the A318 is also a good plane, when it counts on commonality. Now, we got the whole Airbus A320 family to choose from when we will expand, Joakim said.

The hubs for the airline will be Bergen (ENBR) and Stavanger (ENZV).

Bergen will be our main hub, Daniel said.  “Due to the high population and also due to the great infrastructure and the “Hurtigrutten Cruiseferries” its the perfect base.”

Destinations from Bergen will be Geneva, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Hannover and Stuttgart plus seasonal routes and from Stavanger: Milan, London, Brussels and Copenhagen.

If we can get slots at London City, we are going to fly there, but if we don’t get slots there, we are going to fly to Gatwick or Luton.
