New Hub in Manchester
On November 18th 2012, freshJet opened it’s hub in Manchester, the third in the UK. Initially, two aircraft will be based here, one Airbus A319 and one Airbus A320. Both aircraft will be used on a variety of routes to Europe including Paris CDG, Palma, Tenerife, Belfast and Glasgow. Keflavik, Iceland was recently added to the route network and will also be served from Manchester, initially operating on a once-weekly basis.
Iain Robb, CEO said the following:
“I am extremely pleased to finally launch our new hub at Manchester. Not only will this allow us to expand our domestic network, but also allow us to expand to more profitable destinations throughout Europe.”
“I hope that the new hub will bring great success to the airline and will become a popular choice among both pilots and passengers.”
A third and perhaps fourth aircraft are expected to be added next year.
