Kamchatka is a peninsula situated in the Russian Far East. It is situated near two tectonic plates and therefore shows a rather high volcanic activity. The Volcanoes of Kamchatka have been declared a National Park and were recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Volcanoes are the main attractions of the Kamchatka in which the largest active volcanoes are located on the peninsula – Shiveluch, Klyuchevskoy, Ichinsky, Koryaksky, Avachinsky, Karymsky and Kronotsky.
Canadian Xpress® would like to invite all pilots to join us on Saturday, May 18th at 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) for our May 2013 Fly-In where we will depart from Khabarovsk (UHHH), the largest city and the administrative center of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia and fly to Kamchatsky (UHPP).
