Pacific Logistics has announced they have reached an agreement with Boeing to purchase 8 747-8 Freighters. The Boeing 747-8 is the lastest variant of the iconic “jumbo jet” line, which features improvements in fuel efficiency and capabilities.
“The 747 line has been a tremendous asset to Pacific Logistics,” said CEO Andrew De Forest. “We believe the 747-8 will offer us a strategic advantage as we continue to develop our network and look towards the future.”
The 747-8F will initially replace PacLog’s older B747-400BDSFs, which have an average age of 24 years. Additional aircraft will help to supplement and expand Pacific Logistics scheduled cargo network.
