Mega Fly In on IVAO

Zuliana Virtual Airlines and IVAO Venezuela are currently
preparing a "Mega-Fly In" to Maracaibo (SVMC) that will take place on
next November 13, 2005.

The event called "Venite Pa’ Maracaibo" could be the biggest Fly In
event ever organized at the International Virtual Aviation Organization
(IVAO). All the pilots, Virtual Airlines and Organizations are invited
to assist.

Uno Airways launches

Europe finally has it’s newest virtual airline, as the many months of preparation have paid off as Uno Airways has opened it’s doors to the public.

”Although we had several technical problems at the venue of the 2005 Bristol flight sim show, including us not being able to connect to the internet, although we managed to overcome them – although we launched at 3pm rather than 12," said Chairman and CEO Jon Chambers.

Test your virtual airline

The Polish VACC has announced a new project called VARA. The main goal of VARA is to test the reliability of an airline from passengers’ point of view. A reliable airline is an airline which gets you on time to your destination: no delays, no canceled flights.

The first edition of VARA is scheduled Sunday 23 Oct from 1500-2100 UTC in vFIR Warsaw and Prague (LKPR), Berlin (EDDT) and Vilnius (EYVI) airports. The deadline for preliminary registration of a VA is Sunday October 16th

UNO continues to prepare for launch

The preperations continue, as Amsterdam’s newest low-cost
virtual airline prepares to launch this Saturday. The airline is
launching live at this years European Flight Sim Show in Bristol.

Leaflets, posters and pictures are now ready for distribution at the
show. The timetables are almost online and the website continues to add
new features, including an Automated Roster & PIREP system – which
has been installed by the airlines’ COO, Mark McCullough.
