Last Monday, Westernair began a whole host of new services.
The route network expansion announced just under a month ago came into
effect on monday with new services to mainland Europe and the East
coast of America.
The airline acquired three new A320 aircraft and one Boeing 757 to add to its fleet of three Dash 8′s for the new services.

Eastern Virtual Airlines staff express their thanks to everyone who has
supported their relief fund for hurricane Katrina victims.
Eastern Virtual Airlines will be discontinuing the Hurricane Donation Fund as of October 14th, 2005.

Originally scheduled for launch in mid to late December 2005, the
Apollo 19 mission has been moved up to launch on October 16, 2005 at
6:30 am EST. The primary and back-up crews of the mission have taken on
a new face as well as a new mentality, which has given it an entirely
new face.

Kelown Air has now opened a Hub out of Darwin Intl. with
passenger service to all of Australia. The airline which has been in
operation since November 2003 is now operating from nine hubs worldwide.
Skytouch has acquired Skytaxi Airways, an airline official told reporters today.
Skytouch was established last month and is trying to strengthen its position by forming partnerships.

Fly UK, the Leeds Bradford based virtual airline, today
announced it has updated its website. It boasts a variety of features
including fully automated systems, a personal message centre and
interactive timetable centre.
An airline official also told reporters today that the new training
department is now fully operational with three very experienced pilots
ready to help.
