Kelowna Air, based at Kelowna Airport in British Columbia,
Canada today announced the opening of a new hub in Greensboro, NC to
service the U.S. eastern seaboard from Miami Florida to Toronto Canada. Continue reading
Today it was announced that START Airways will commence operations Fall 2005.
The new airline, with headquarters in Munich, Germany said it will be
operating from its main hub in Munich and from a secondary hub at
London Gatwick airport.

Today Air Lambert announced the opening of its USA hub. The
actual opening took place September 5th, exactly one year after Air
Lambert started operations in the UK.
On September 5th 2004 LMT002 took off from Gatwick bound for Edinburgh. To mark
the anniversary, G-LMCF, one of Air Lambert’s A320’s has had a special ‘1’ balloon added
to its nose.

New Amsterdam based ‘Uno Airways’ has brought forward it’s launch date
to October the 15th of this year. The airline that was planning to open
on new years’ day has suprised everyone by launching early.
"We cannot fathom the
destruction left from Katrina. By all reports, it is far beyond what
the mind can process. Thousands of people go day in and day out without
food, water, diapers, medicine, clean clothes and much more. All this
requires our participation to keep help arriving and getting everyone
